Our Reserve Pinot Noir was blended from the vintage’s best barrels after 15 months of aging. Grapes from La Cantera Vineyard (est. 1986) and Carlton Hill Vineyard (est. 1999) were hand-harvested and primarily destemmed into small fermenters and chilled for 4 days to allow the juice to extract rich color and flavor from the skins prior to fermentation. Following fermentation the wine was pressed to French oak barrels for cellar aging.
Our 2019 Pinot Noir delivers a rich flavor profile of dark cherry and raspberry preserves accented by floral rose aromas, vanilla and baking spice. This wine is drinking beautifully now and will continue to develop in bottle over the next 5-10 years.
