Reserve Pinot Gris

The 2019 vintage proved to be a classic Oregon vintage. The nearly perfect weather that carried through ripening became sporadically wet closer to harvest. Despite punctuating rains, Mother Nature delivered plenty of the dry, sunny days we needed for ideal flavor development and maturity.

The Pinot Gris vineyards were carefully hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed into stainless steel tanks prior to a cold fermentation that extended over the following six weeks. To maintain the bright, refreshing character that compliments Pinot Gris so nicely, this wine received no barrel aging and was matured entirely in stainless steel.

Our resulting cuvée offers classic notes of citrus zest, white peach, almond, green apple and mineral and will pair excellently with seafood, roasted chicken, and is a perfect partner with Thai cuisine.

Reserve Pinot Noir

Our Reserve Pinot Noir was blended from the vintage’s best barrels after 15 months of aging.

Grapes from La Cantera Vineyard (est. 1986) and Carlton Hill Vineyard (est. 1999) were hand-harvested and primarily destemmed into small fermenters and chilled for 4 days to allow the juice to extract rich color and flavor from the skins prior to fermentation.

Following fermentation the wine was pressed to French oak barrels for cellar aging.

Our 2019 Pinot Noir delivers a rich flavor profile of dark cherry and raspberry preserves accented by floral rose aromas, vanilla and baking spice. This wine is drinking beautifully now and will continue to develop in bottle over the next 5-10 years.
